Introduction:
Well now it is time to get those tournaments I said along time ago to get underway. The fallowing shall be a list of all tournaments that your characters will be aloud to enter as well as the rules. There will first be a list of general rules for all tournaments and then fallowed be a listing of specific set of rules for each tournament type.
General Rules
1. All who choose to enter the tournaments, must have the character they want in the tournament approved before signing up.
2. You can have no more then two of your own character in a single tournament at a time. If you plan to enter more then one tournament then please only have two characters sign up for each.
3. The tournaments shall also be held according to the site rules with exception the character killing rule.
4. Not all tournaments will we allow you kill another members character with out permission so please look at all rules before registering.
5. If you do not wish to have your character killed please do not enter tournaments where a character is eligible for being killed off.
6. If you feel a match was unfair or if you feel that yoru opponent may have broken the rules then please ask a tournament judge to review.
7. You may challenge a judge's ruling, if so then you will have to ask another judge and a non staff member for review of the events that take place.
8. During each tournament, you and your opponent will be given each 20 posts in which you must incapacitate your opponent. At the end of which the match will be judges and even if the character a character is killed at the end, the judge may still rule in his favor.
9. If a person goes over their 20 post limit before a judge begins ruling, then that person will be disqualified.
10. If a judge rules in the favor of a person who has lost and killed in battle, the judge may reset the result and pronounce the character KOed instead.
11. RP is allowed in Tournaments.
12. Each character must show fatigue and must not god mod or powerplay during battle or else they will be removed from the tournament. From there the staff will also be called upon to review the and suggest possible punishments for who ever breaks this rule.
13. If your character loses a bout, then please do not get upset or complain about losing. If you do lose then please do it in a respectful and graceful manner. Sore losing will not be tolerated.
14. Please be respectful to the other combatants.
15. If something comes up, character wise, and your character is not able to take part in the tournament because of some reason RP wise, then your character will be removed from the tournament.
16. If something comes up and you can't compete then please let us know and we will put your match on hold.
17. If you or a team member is out side the tournment area for more then 5 posts, you or your team will forfiet the match.
Group tournament Rules:
1. In group tournament your character must be part of an active team of character and all members of the team must registered and competing willingly in the tournaments.
2. Not all members of the a team have to be shinobi, should your team have a character that is not a shinobi then please do not worry.
3. The rules above still apply and should one member of your team be removed fromt he tournament then your entire team shall be removed as well.
4. All members of your team must be able to compete (RP wise) at the begining of the match or else your team may not be able to compete.
5. If you should lose a member of your team, you will be granted a grace period of three days (RP wise) or your next match to find a replacement member for your team or else you risk getting kicked from the tournament.
6. Each member of the team is allowed to bring a limited number of items with them with a set limit at 10 different items. For each item your character can have no more then 20.
Ranked Battles:
1. During the ranked Torunament, character of a specific rank will only be placed in a tournament with members of the same rank.
2. The winners of a ranked tournament will be granted a rank pormotion meaning a genin may become a chuunin if he or she wins the ranked tournament. the same goes for each rank up until jounin.
3. Once a jounin wins a ranked tournament, they will not be able to go up in rank. In stead as a reward, the jounin will be given a rather nice cash prize. ((Please keep in mind that all rewards are in-game and are for RP purposes only))
Special Match
1. In a non-tournament bout, you or your team is allowed to issue a challenge to any team or person.
2. Unlike in the tournaments, there are no restictions on the number of items you have nor the number of posts you can use, however the match ends when the opponent(s) is KOed or nocked out of the match area.
3. A request can be made for special rules to be added to the match that must be fair to all members. Members of both parties must approve the special set of rules or else they will not apply.
4. In Special match tournaments, special rules can be posted and enforced for each match. These tournments are ever changing and so no two matches will have the exact same rules.
5. RP characters can host special match tournaments and choose what the reward will be for the winner.
Judge Rules
1. In order to become a judge for the tournaments, you must have a character in the group STAaA (Shinobi Tournament Administration and Association)
2. No character or user out side the organization has the right to administer a match that will be offically reconized by the STAaA and will hold no standing accounding to the ranking system that will be set up just as the tournaments start.
3. Rankings are to be posted by judges only... no one else.
